It might be April Fools Day, but our fundraiser and show are no joke!

Join us at the newly remodeled Patrick’s Cabaret for an evening of good humor, fun, and glamorous adventures.

Doors open at 6pm! Be sure to get here early and check out our silent auction to help raise funds to support Al-Bahira’s original dance-play Ifrita Helwa which will premiere in June.

Then stick around for the laughs with the Giggles & Glam April Fools Day show featuring signature Al-Bahira comedic works plus the funny and glamorous stylings of our guest performers and friends!

Doors and silent auction open at 6:00pm

Show at 7 p.m.

Admission: $12 in advance, $15 at the door (space permitting.)

First Friday Open Jam

Studio Sendero Come jam with us at Studio Sendero. All genres welcome to experiment, collaborate, and participate at any level. Dancers, musicians, aficionados. Bring instruments, dance shoes (please be kind to my wood dance floor and avoid wearing rubber soles if you plan to dance Bare feet always welcome!), your singing voice, an idea, or just your curiosity. There are usually impromptu performances and/or mini-lessons throughout the evening.

On your way up to the 5th floor in the JAX Building, check out some of my artist neighbors as our building is full to the brim with talented folks.

There will also be art for sale by the ever-awesome Emily Kaplan in the studio. Do not miss!

Please invite friends that you think may be interested. The more the merrier!

Performances by Sendero Flamenco. Open Stage for low pressure, family-friendly experimentation, collaboration and performance in a classy, tasteful venue. Bring instruments, dance shoes, come in costume if you wish.

$10 flights of three wines

Dancers: If you’d like to dance to live music you may either improvise to something in our regular repertoire -OR- send me a message ahead of time along with the title of a song or a link to a video/audio track and we’ll see what we can do. Don’t be afraid to ask! You may also bring your music on an MP3 player. *We do not have a CD player. Please bring your music in a digital format.*

Musicians: We will have a number of Ziegahn-crafted cajons available for you to play. Please feel free to bring your own instruments to either join in or have some solo stage time.
